I stayed at Emma and Elaine’s house…
April 3, 2008 — allatseawithabucketandspadeAfter a lovely birthday meal for granny, I stayed at Emma and Elaine’s house. In the morning (after a very good night’s sleep) we got the acrylic paints out and a spare canvas and I set to work. I wore Elaine’s jama’s because my mum wouldn’t have been too impressed if I got paint all over my lovely puffball dress. I drew on paper first to get the creativity going. I didn’t want to ruin the canvas. It all went fairly smoothly and I like the result. What do you think?

[...] Afterwards, we went to Brewers Fayre at Cross Point. Jeanette and Ian grabbed Leah on the way. The food was lovely. BUT half the dishes on the menu weren’t available so we were all getting stressed with each other as people had to go back to the menu and re-order. Emma had posh sausage and mash. They ran out of brandy. The service wasn’t brill either. But it was okay in the end. And my mum enjoyed it which was the main point Leah stayed the night afterwards.
